Denying media reports in regards to the disavowal of criminal diamantaire Mehul Choksi’s citizenship by an Antiguan common court, his Advocate Vijay Aggarwal told that Choksi is still a lot of an Antiguan resident and his citizenship has not been renounced.
“My client Mehul Choksi has explained that he is a lot of an Antiguan resident. His citizenship has not been denied,” Analyst Law Associates Vijay Aggarwal told.
As indicated by a media report, Choksi is as of now battling repudiation of his citizenship in an Antiguan common court as Antigua dropped his citizenship at some point a year ago.
The report added that when Choksi depletes his allure against the denial of citizenship request, his removal procedures will start as Antiguan Prime Minister Gaston Browne has effectively guaranteed India of sending him back.
