Ministry of Home Affairs releases the IB ACIO notification. The full name of the exam is IB Assistant Central Intelligence Officer, and the examination is conducted by the Ministry of Home Affairs. Since it is a graduate-level executive exam, the importance of this competitive exam is quite high. 

It is a Grade-II level Government Recruitment exam, and any graduate can attempt the exam to become a reputed IB officer. IB ACIO stands for Intelligence Bureau Assistant Central Intelligence Officer.

  • Analytical Ability

If you want to score well in the analytical ability, practice Blood Relation Test, Series, Analogy, Character Puzzles, Classification, and Series Completion daily. Also, the subject covers Seating Arrangement, Logical Sequence of Words, Direction Sense tests, Chart Logic, Image Analysis, Pattern Completion, and Analytical Reasoning.

  • Quantitative and Numerical Ability

The quant section covers Number System, Mensuration, Ratio and Time, Percentage, Profit and Loss, Decimals, Average, Calculus, and Dynamics. It also includes Time and Distance, Interest, Ratio and Proportion, Algebra, Statistics, Missing Numbers, and various other basic Arithmetical Operations. 

  • English Language

In English, you need to focus on Synonyms/Antonyms, Grammar, Vocabulary, One-Word Substitution, Spelling, and some basic language skills. 

  • Logical Reasoning

This section primarily covers Data Sufficiency, Blood Relations, Puzzles, Clocks, Statements and Assumptions, and fundamental Reasoning Analogies.
